“Everyone has a story to tell; this is mine”
I am a mother to two (three if you include my husband!) gorgeous boys that keep me very busy. I love spending time with my family and enjoy helping others and volunteering my time, educating others has always been a passion.
For many years I have wanted to create a website to help educate and support families on their individual journeys.
Finding out my youngest child was going to be born with clubfoot put our lives on a rollercoaster ride, well Ive never actually been on a real life rollercoaster (its a fear of mine!) but I assume the feeling is similar.
Parenthood has taught me many things, led me to meet such wonderful people and taught me things i did not know about myself. This will be a space to share the highs and lows, as well as the incredible tips I have come across.
I am not a trained professional -Unless we are talking the hairdressing kind, which in fact I am no longer practicing. All of my advice comes from the heart and is passed on with the up most love, kindness, respect and passion. This parenting can be one tough gig at times!
I am not going to pretend to be perfect – I am NOT, these are MY opinions, MY stories and MY journey.
I published Leroys Boots (donating the profits) so that our family and many others around the world could share a story at bed time to make things a little easier. Wearing special boots and bar to bed to help with the correction of clubfoot can be a difficult task, It is my hope that Leroys boots can continue to brings comfort to homes and can be used as an educational tool to teach the world inclusivity.
I have created this platform so I could share information with others, and also have a place for ME to express my day to day feelings as a women, parent, wife, daughter, sister, aunty and friend.
I look forward to this new adventure – “Wouldn’t it be great if children all over the world had access to clubfoot treatment” – lets make it happen.Thank you for showing an interest in my story.
